Celebrate Jane Austen’s 250^th birthday and gather for a day of trivia, a special guest lecture and a teacup candle craft while we sip tea and enjoy refreshments. Professor Rebecca Posusta of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs will deliver a lecture titled, “Writing Her World: Jane Austen at Chawton.” She will explore Austen’s experiences at her final home in Chawton Cottage while uncovering new ways of assessing and understanding Jane Austen’s writing life.
