Add a CommentIt is very fun book for beginning reader.
This is a classic and humorous story about a peddler who tries to outsmart a group of monkeys. This book teaches children about different colours, patterns and also has a lot of repetition, which is excellent for an early reader. (submitted by KB)
Very clever story and wonderful illustrations! It reminded me of the story of the contest between the sun and the wind to make a man remove his coat. Sometimes, the answer is counter-intuitive!
This book is pretty good (Although not my favorite) but still good.:)
For ages 3-5. A peddler has to outwit a band of mischievous monkeys to get back his caps.
One of my favorite books! Be sure to make the monkey sounds and act out the peddler and the monkeys actions.
Great story for beginning readers
This is a wonderful learning book for the little ones. Through this book they can learn counting, colors and because of the repetitiveness, beginning reading. The story is simple. The illustrations are colorful. How the man gets his hats back is comical.
This book is perfect for reading out loud! Very cute story about a cap peddler who has a run-in with some mischievous monkeys.
My daughter LOVED it! Especially acting out the antics of the monkeys..highly recommended!
