This book extracts the essence from Tolle's teachings in The Power of Now, showing us how to free ourselves from "enslavement to the mind." The aim is to be able to enter into and sustain an awakened state of consciousness throughout everyday life. Through meditations and simple techniques, he shows us how to quiet our thoughts, see the world in the present moment, and find a path to "a life of grace, ease, and lightness."

I agree wholeheartedly with the comments of Courtney92_0 and Jules222. I've read quite a few so-called "New Age" spiritual books in my time and Eckhart Tolle's books have struck me the most profoundly. They have really resonated with me and seem to speak a profound truth.

If you've read 'The Power of Now' then this book is a perfect follow up which helps to break it down into easy ways to incorporate the lessons from 'The Power of Now' into your everyday life.

I recommend everyone on the planet read all of Eckhart Tolle's books. It's truely life changing. These lessons should be taught in schools, to children as young as possible.

It's important to keep an open mind when reading his books. If you do not understand it completely, then keep reading. It will all make sense in the end.

Remember to spread the lessons you have learned so that others will benefit too.
