Another great Disney movie, it has enough humor, a great plot, and appreciable acting, hard to forget this movie from the the golden age of Disney.

An interesting movie of an all-time classic. The mysterious Captain Nemo and the ever optimistic Professor were well portrayed in this casting. The Nautilus was equally fascinating. A great movie to watch.

I saw this movie when I was a kid and just loved it. The submarine was cool and the special effects - for a kid - were amazing. My love of this story was even enhanced by a trip to Disneyworld, which in those days had a 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea ride, in which you could go underwater on an adventure. But seeing the movie as an adult with my kids has tempered my enthusiasm. While this version of the Nautilus is way cool, and nothing beats the steampunk look of the underwater gear and Nemo's command center, the movie itself kind of drags. After awhile, Kirk Douglas' character becomes so obnoxious with that stupid song he sings that YOU WISH Nemo would carry through on his ongoing threat to throw him overboard. Still, it is a fun movie to watch with the family.

Unfortunately, the DVD I borrowed was damaged; therefore, it would not track through several chapters. It would be a perfect world if all borrowers would treat the items kindly so others could enjoy them.

Its well played and quote advanced technically for those times. No swearing, no vulgarism or sex for the sake of sex. I like to see the behaviour of people of the past. In modern movies often you hear mumble or poor pronunciation. Here is not the case. Interesting story-board though ends little awkward.
