Fascinating. The story of a remarkable yet humble man who achieved astonishing things that permanently changed our understanding of this planet and laid the foundation for the sciences of geology and paleontology. The author and his editors and advisers are to be congratulated for the clarity and conciseness of the resulting book; There didn't seem to be one unnecessary word!
