Good overview of punk music / mentality. Starts with the MC5, Stooges moves to NYC with the Velvet Underground, Television, New York Dolls, Patti Smith. The Ramones - funny segment where people were saying the Ramones were terrible - but they went back to see them every night. Moves over to London with the Sex Pistols, The Clash, Souixsie and the Banshees. Back to the US for the LA punk scene with the Dead Kennedys, Black Flag mention the Germs, the Screamers and the Weirdos. Henry Rollins talks about the Bad Brains (he is from D.C.). Ends with more contemporary bands like Sonic Youth. They even discuss Nirvana, not so much as a punk band but a rock band with a punk attitude / aesthetic.
