Directed by Julien Temple, this film is the definitive documentary about Joe Strummer and The Clash. It's chock full of celebrity actors and musicians sitting around campfires reminiscing about the Punk rock legend. The film is particularly good on the genesis of UK Punk. Strummer was in a band called the 101'ers composed of fellow Hippies who lived in the same West London squat. But the Sex Pistols were the top of the heap. So when Bernie Rhodes came calling, Strummer dumped his Hippie housemates and joined Mick Jones and Paul Simonon.
