Beautiful lyrical music
I really liked this album. I don't think that the RAA is really the same thing, though. I mean, similar. But not nearly as relaxing to listen to. I listened to this album when I paint. It kind of goes with that.
I discovered GLS on CBC radio. Then I saw them at Hillside Festival. I have found anything by them is grand. Including this one.
Fabulous haunting melodies. The entire album is lovely from beginning to end.
I found this disc just a bit too boring for my liking. It is very nice indie-rock pop/folk but just a bit too melodic for my liking and none of the songs really stood out. Perhaps with repeated listening it would grow on me. The Rural Alberta Advantage CD I recently took out is much better from a similar genre of music.
