Hilarious take on the dog agility world. Reviews make this sound like a professional sport, but it is easily taken up by any amateur with a willing pooch and a bit of basic obedience training. As a novice jumper myself I found his trials and confusions oh so familiar!

Charming, funny, self-deprecating, and sometimes seeming a little dense in his understanding of his sheltie's behavior, this author's work is an enjoyable read.

Dusty, the cryptic blue Sheltie, may be "the world's least likely agility dog," but the story of his training and, yes, successes in canine agility competition is highly entertaining and in parts very funny. I found myself rooting for Dusty and his owner, author Robert Rodi as they trained and competed at trials throughout the American midwest -- trials that were sometimes well named!

Cute book; part "Marley and Me' part memoir.
