I confess I gave in to my inner gossip girl and read this. (Hangs head in shame.) But - I'm glad I did, because there's lots in here that, as far as I know, never made it into the mainstream press. If you thought the King of Pop was a child molester, you'd probably have to change your opinion after reading this. Lots to think about. It's a sensation book so the style is not the best, but the facts are interesting.

A disturbing portrait of MJ. What is shocking is that all of his legal problems never would have happened, if he had just had two basic things: A cell phone, and membership in AAA. This book details what happened when he had the misfortune of having his car break down and he met the wrong ex-husband of the Good Samaritan who tried to help him.

I keep writing and re-writing the comment on this book, but can't seem to say it right. So I'll just say, no matter what side of the fence you sit on with Michael Jackson, this could be considered a crucial read because it exposes the catastrophic results of putting a man on trial by public opinion without shedding light on ACTUAL evidence.

Michael Jackson? Not guilty. Never was. I never believed it, and Halperin's painted the picture in one volume. His conclusion is not only a COMPLETE surprise, but gut-wrenching if you feel any compassion for Michael Jackson as a human being, stripped of his celebrity. Very, very sad.

What could have been an interesting and provocative exploration of Michael Jackson fails because of the incessant and shameless self-promotion of the author and his side-projects throughout the entire text.

OMG Michael Jackson should not have died. He was an amazing
man - he will be remembered forever as The King Of Pop.

RIP Michael Jackson :(
