It was only a few years of hits. They came out from 1963 to 1967. The hits were such songs as "Kicks" , "
Hungry", "Good Thing" and "Indian Reservation". When you saw Paul Revere and the Raiders live you were struck how great the band sounded. They were a tight band and their lead vocalist Mark Lindsay was one of the best in the business. He left the band soon after their first couple albums and none of his replacements even came close to his vocal abilities. We are fortunate to have "The Complete Columbia Singles" in the KCLS catalog. I must say, few of these singles were ever chart busters. In fact, throughout the career of the band they were great a doing covers of other that artists material. They did an outstanding "Louie, Louie". The leader Paul Revere Dick passed away October 4, 2014. He was of course the leader and organist for the group. He kept the band going at major events, clubs, and concerts from 1963 to present. Thankfully, Paul Revere Dick left us all his bands great music. Your music lives on Paul Revere!

Paul Revere Dick passed away October 4, 2014 and I would just like to say that this man and his band Paul Revere and the Raiders were on of the 1960's best bands. Up until this year the band kept out on the road playing. They originated in Idaho and got their original start right here in Seattle and the Northwest. Who can forget hits like "Hungry", "Kicks", "Good Thing", and "Indian Reservation". If you ever saw a Paul Revere and the Raiders show it was like no other show. Paul Revere, which is his first and middle names, was the MC. He shot off pistols and he called everyone else in the band his little raiders. That was due to his aging while hiring younger members as band mates or as a lead singer. The last lead singer I saw the band have was Bill Medley's son. Bill Medley was of course a member of the Righteous Brothers. I will miss you Paul Revere Dick!! Thanks for all the great music you have left behind for us. You live on in your music!!
