Sharon Salzberg is an American Buddhist that has a focus on meditation practices. The manner she relays information in Lovingkindness is by combining her personal experiences with Buddhist teachings. These teachings became more accessible, relatable by doing so, however, I found myself at times wishing for less of her reflections and more focus on the Buddhist text. Overall, an enjoyable read with occasional profound insight!
