This young hero thinks that his powers come from his hair. Thus, the longer it gets, the more powerful he becomes. Until the day a super-villain drags him into his lair and takes away his powers. How can he face his friends and the world? Will he be able to gain his powers back? A funny book beautifully and creatively illustrated. (submitted by YR)
Cute book, with a kind and clever sister that truly saves the day for the shorn superheroes!
Rocco's images are imaginative, silly, and pleasing to the eye. His pictures show that he is well-versed in comic books, even choosing to emulate comic book printing with backgrounds that have pixelated dots, giving him his own little take on Roy Lichtenstein.

This book was really funny!
This is offically one of my favorite authors. He writes in a way to encourage reluctant readers. Using words that are actually advanced, but with a layout that you don't realize. The illustrator did an excellent job of using black and white as an impact color. Also the ethnic diversity without being obvious is wonderful.
