The beautiful Princess Odette is transformed into a swan by an evil sorcerer's spell (which can only be broken by a vow of everlasting love) and held captive at an enchanted lake. There, she befriends Jean-Bob the frog, Speed the turtle and Puffn the bird. Despite their struggle to keep the princess safe, these good-natured animals can do nothing about the sorcerer's spell.

Eh. The talking animals are about the only thing this movie has going for it. Song segues were mostly awkward (and bad songs) and the storyline was subpar. But you know kids, they'll watch just about anything....

Odette is out here asking the important questions!:

Prince Derek: What? You're all I ever wanted. You're beautiful!
Odette: Thank you. But what else?
Prince Derek: What else?
Odette: Is beauty all that matters to you?

A great children's movie, even comparable to some of the memorable Disney classics. At once this movie is funny, romantic, scary, magical and beautiful. Great songs and characters to fall in love with.
