In the controversial 2002 film "Bowling for Columbine" Marilyn Manson told Michael Moore that if he had a chance to address the parents of those who died in the massacre as well as the kids who survived, he would have not said anything - that he would have listened to the victims because the media didn't. This book demonstrates nothing has changed in the years that have intervened. Teens and twenty-somethings are the most affected by gun violence and / or are the most prone to commit violence, but no one is listening to them either. This book gives them a voice. It's a good book, but my rating is due to the fact it gets tedious too often.
