The talking between the mother (Helen Hunt) and the son to me did the most damage to the movie. I found it to be annoying and dragged out. However, the story line about a mother who's life is seriously impaired and changed forever by the death of her one son was good. But I believe the director could have done a much better job with the story line. The best part of the movie was when the son did not talk at all. An ok movie to watch once.

This movie was a watch once type of movie. I like watching Helen Hunt. She is a good actress. I'm impressed by watching a 54 year old woman in fantastic shape, and getting up on that surf board. Plastic surgery has really enhanced her life.

Hollywood needs more Helen Hunt. Not the best movie ever but HH always comes through.

Love Helen Hunt, she's a terrific actress, but the beginning of this story was a bit tiresome. It did pick up at the end. It was OK!
