But her sisters aren't convinced — and when Tina tells them she has climbed a tree and met a dragon, they decide that her nonsense has gone too far. An absolutely charming book about possibility. The illustrations are wonderful.

Nice way to give the message anything is possible if we set our minds to it or let our imaginations soar.

A beautiful and humorous picture book. There are many kid's books about trying something new, but there is room for one more when it is this good.

Believing that “the sky was the limit” and that anything was possible, Tina wasn’t like her sisters or any of the other cows on the farm. She had big ideas. She wasn’t content to stay at home and chew fresh green grass. Instead, Tina longed to explore the world beyond the farmyard.
The reaction of Tina’s sisters to her ideas and questions was always the same. “Impossible! Ridiculous! Nonsense!”
One day Tina was exploring the woods when she decided to try something new. She climbed a high tree. At the top, she couldn’t believe her eyes. There sat a dragon!
The dragon was unlike those in Tina’s storybooks. This one was friendly … and he wasn’t at all interested in eating cows.
For the rest of the afternoon they talked about wonderful dreams, ideas and stories.
Later, Tina’s sisters didn’t believe her. “Dragons don’t exist! Cows can’t climb trees! Impossible! Ridiculous! Nonsense!”
The next morning, the sisters spied a note in the kitchen: “Gone flying with the dragon of the woods. Tina”.
The sisters were fed up. They decided to find Tina and bring her home. Venturing into the woods for the first time, they were amazed at how peaceful and beautiful everything was. They were even more amazed when they saw something totally “impossible” and “ridiculous” … but true. Using a large parachute, Tina the Cow was flying with a dragon!
The sisters couldn’t believe their eyes. They stared and stared at Tina, who was obviously having lots of fun.
Finally, they decided to join her.
And why not? After all, there was a whole world to see and explore!
Expressive artwork enhances this thoughtful, humorous picture book story about individuality and trying new things.
