Two enslaved young people—dogged Jonah and opportunistic Angel—in 1850s South Carolina follow the North Star with hopes of finding freedom in the North.
Morgan has written a good tale. I thought a little that it was like 'Cold Mountain' in reverse, but it’s a warm, funny story, even with the fear and danger they must face.
