One of Arnold's better film. Sharon Stone looked great in this movie.

Any movie that includes Arnold with his head in a wet towel talking to a video recording of himself can't be all bad. Any movie that includes this much camp and b-Movie cheese with utter sincerity can't be all bad. This movie tries to be awful. I get the sense that every actor in this movie knew that it was a bad movie and decided to try and play a game of large ham chicken where they all competed to see who could have the most over the top performance. The result is a movie that shouldn't be enjoyable, but absolutely is; a movie that shouldn't work, but does against all odds.

It is a classic sci-fi movie produced at that time period. No dull moment. Better than the re-make.

One of the best and brightest Sci-fi action films ever made (at that time). Was just as much fun on the second viewing (at this time)!!

Though campy and grisly at times, this Total Recall is good escapism in this time of need for it. Arnold is top notch as a bored construction worker who might or might not be an undercover spy who tries to have a memory implanted into his head. And all Child’s Play fans might recognize Kuato, the hidden mutant with the face of Chucky from those movies, haha.

Mr. Quaid. Mind if i ask you a question? What's the one thing that never changes when you watch a movie?...I always watch it on my HOMETHEATER. This is a very good sci-fi movie filled with quality all around sound. Maybe not "Sound Freak" worthy, but the story is very good and the action is at a good pace through out the movie. I have this movie ( not the version shown) as part of my collection. There are many scenes with good sound, but my favorite is when Mr.Schwarzenegger runs from the bad guys in the subway. The moment he enter that X-ray device until he boards a train, there is some very good action scenes and gun fire. The bad guys are very cool and the female characters are all attractive and equally bad. I give this movie 4 and half stars. Very good visual effects, very good story, good characters, and good sound. Two thick juicy burgers with onions, peppers, mustard, ketsup, tomatoes, and lettuce with a large bottle of 7-up.

This movie is fun from start to finish, but it also manages to keep you thinking about reality and the implications of the ideas presented in the movie. This is easily one of Schwarzenegger's best movies. I would highly recommend this movie to action fans, as well as science fiction fans.

A sort of mix between star trek, the matrix and x- men. Well done, but I have to say it got pretty graphic in some parts.
