This book reminded me of the wonderful Mister Rogers. It has a quiet elegance about it, very much like some of the stories he would read. Beautiful.

What a beautiful book. I love the spare text full of descriptive words. So many jumping off places for conversation with your little one.

This book has deliciously descriptive vocabulary. You can imagine what's happening right from the page. The book gives a broad storyline, and the pictures give context clues where children use their background knowledge from nature and real things. This is a beautiful book that caregivers can use lots of mathematical language and extend through open ended questions. This book is recommended for ages 3-4 years and up.

"I can be round, too... / in a circle of friends / with no one left out."

A celebration of all things round! This book ends with back matter that describes round things (nuts, seeds, bubbles, eggs, nests, etc) in our world. A perfect book to share with children in preschool and kindergarten.

Taeeun Yoo's mixed-media illustrations radiate a bright and bold palette.
