With more illustrations than words, we follow the antics of two imaginative, irresponsible friends living in a tree house of their own making — with mermaids, gorillas, and flying cats. (You know, the usual.) Lots of mishaps and laughs ensue in order for them to first, save the world and second, ... Read More »

How awesome would it be to live in a treehouse that has everything?

13-Story Tree House had not that much sentences. Not very good drawing. And wen they started the chapter they didn't finish the story that they begin with.13-story tree house has lots of imagination i love the 13 story tree house it looks very real has adorable penguins.

Total anarchy for the young anarchists in your house, including but not limited to: a shrink ray, a killer mermaid, sea monkeys, a shark tank, and a catnary. Plus there's that tree house, and if it's a hit there are several more books in the series, featuring tree houses with even more floors.

the book was pretty fast paced and it was funny but the plot and the characters need developing.

Are you a parent like me who thought the spelling ought to be "Storey" not "Story?" Well you're wrong. There are indeed 13 stories, and each 'story' in this book is imaginative and fun. This book transcends genres. It could be classified as Fairy Tales, Fantasy, Humour, Fiction, Sci-Fi..and the list goes on. What is important is that it is ideal for children. You could start reading aloud to children as young as three years of age and help them read it as soon as they start reading. Older children will love reading it by themselves. The pictures are also a lot of fun.

All in all a wonderful children's book.

Fun, especially for fans of Captain Underpants and other irreverant and illustrated chapter books, but I wasn't impressed by the writing or the characters. Kids will enjoy the humor and quick pace, though.

This is a great book I loved the tree house, the storyline, and the characters

This was cute --good read alike for Captain Underpants or Wimpy Kid.
