There have been several films about the capture of Adolf Eichmann by the Israeli Mosad. As a World War II history fanatic, I think I have seen them all, so I was skeptical about what would be different / better about this film. First of all the acting was excellent - love Ben Kingsley. Because of the digital age, the declassification of information and the "former" openness of Russian archives, despite the passage of years, more and more is / can be discovered about history. Even though I knew exactly how things would turn out, I still found the capture of Eichmann to be nerve wracking. I liked the fact that the film spent more time on the psychological relationships between captors and captive. ****** I strongly suggest that you watch the director's discussion of the film. He points out issues, events, nuances that I missed. Because I knew the story, I almost wished I had watched the analysis of the film first. Highly recommend, especially if you are new to the history of Eichmann and the holocaust!!!!! Kristi & Abby Tabby

From Mill Creek, WA.
A truly outstanding, almost 97% accurate movie of the apprehension of WW II Nazi Adolph Eichmann in Argentina in 1961. There is a little poetic license for drama. Watch movie first, then watch it a second time with commentary by its director. More info follows with director's narration. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

The beginning starts off a little jerky but it well worth sticking with. Tastefull handling of a horrific time. Good movie

A meandering plot and confused messages bring down an interesting movie about Hitler's right hand man. Worth a watch.

Oscar Isaac and Ben Kingsley go to lengths to bring to life the people they are portraying. Based on a true story that is somewhat sensationalized of the movie, the overall storytelling is compelling and give a good sense of the locations and the time period. The interactions between the characters feel natural and creates a wonderful movie to experience.
