Really felt the characters came through in this movie. I got it right off the bat. Truly a sad story about life in the good ol' USofA when someone gets beaten for what they do or think in their private life. I thought the acting was spot on.

This movie is more enjoyable and makes more sense if you read about the true life story of the guy depicted in the film first before watching it.

We really wanted to like this, but it just wasn't very well written or something. We suggest you watch the documentary "Marwencol" instead of this movie. If you still want to see the movie afterward, it will at least make more sense. That said, the acting was good enough and the animation and sets were very good.

Disappointed overall. Goes to show you that even a man who has a traumatic experience is still a bit of a pervert. I'm sure they made the movie PG but since it was based on a true story I bet the real man lived in a sexy fantasy land.
