If you're definitely interested in hearing some really minimalistic music at its absolute "most minimal", then you need look no further than Brian Eno's "Music For Airports", which comes from his 1970's "Ambient" series. Believe me, "Music For Airports" is such totally "ignorable" music that its only intent could be to induce a deep, meditative calm from the listener. In fact, this CD's completely hypnotic, repetitive sounds may even put one off to sleep in no time flat. Born in 1948 - British composer and record producer, Brian Eno began his professional music career as a member of the early-1970's glam/art rock band, Roxy Music, which also included vocalist Bryan Ferry. Over these many years Eno has worked with numerous performers and bands, such as - Genesis, David Bowie, U2, Talking Heads, Robert Fripp, and Laurie Anderson, to name but a few. "Music For Airports" cover art was, indeed, painted by Brian Eno, himself.
