I found this to be very engaging. In the US we have been brainwashed into thinking that we are the center of the world--and everything important that happens happens here on US soil or where we have sent out troops. This Aussie film is well done from strong acting to solid script to beautiful cinematography. The cast includes teens, Aboriginals, a Brit, and a human-challenged man who just wants to hack to relieve his mental angst because computers are easy, people are hard. (He is not another Asperger's kid, nor a Sheldon take off.) One gratuitous, and much too long, graphic sex scene, but less swearing than one might expect. Not really suited to binge watching as you'll want some time between episodes to think about the messages the series is trying to get across about corporations, the military, mental illness (there are several kinds) and how far can you go to protect your career without losing your soul.
