Ready your tastebuds and curiosity to learn about the history of soul food! Local award-winning author and culinary historian Adrian Miller will trace soul food’s journey from Africa to the American West. Adrian will discuss the cultural significance of soul food from its origins through emancipation and beyond, and how it remains vibrant and relevant today. Enjoy a light snack from Welton Street Café along with the program.
