In Conversation with Lisa Gardner

Gardner began writing at 17, first publishing romance before pivoting to the thriller genre, where she quickly found her stride. Her deep research into police procedure and criminal psychology has shaped a body of work that spans more than 30 countries, four TV movie adaptations and appearances on TruTV and CNN.
Her novel The Neighbor earned both the International Thriller Writers Award for Best Hardcover Novel and France's Grand Prix des Lectrices de Elle. In 2017, she received the Silver Bullet Award for her advocacy for at-risk children and the Humane Society.
The evening will feature a local author panel with Mario Acevedo, Jon Bassoff, Kristin Koval, Mark Stevens and Cynthia Swanson. Author and emcee Carter Wilson will guide a conversation that showcases each panelist's distinct voice and creative journey.
