Great Decisions Plus: What's at Stake in the War in Ukraine
Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine tested the NATO alliance and Transatlantic cooperation. Ukraine's effort to remain independent of Russian aggression and political control was wrapped up in a larger, global disagreement about the value of democratic sovereignty. This lecture explores the role of NATO going forward in the wake of the Ukraine war.
