Virtual / Call In: Active Minds Mondays — Venezuela
The library is more than books! It’s a place to connect, reflect, and grow. Join Active Mind Mondays, our weekly call-in virtual event where we explore timely topics, hear diverse perspectives, and look at the conversation from every angle.
Today’s topic: William Shakespeare
William Shakespeare is regarded by many as the greatest writer in the English language. Although he is most famous for his plays, he rose to fame in his life as a poet, writing 154 sonnets and two long narrative poems. Most of his plays were not published until after he died in 1616, leading some to question his authorship. In this session, we seek to understand Shakespeare’s life and connect his story to his plays and poems.
