Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention
Tai Chi is a great way to learn foundational movements and principles in a supportive environment. Each class builds on the previous one, so participants are encouraged to attend all eight sessions to get the most out of the experience.
Tai Chi has been shown to help manage arthritis symptoms and reduce the risk of falls and is recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The instructor for this series is a certified Tai Chi instructor with formal training.
The class series will be offered twice in partnership with the City of Edgewater. The first will start on May 4 and run through June 29. It will be offered a second time from July 13 through August 31. Must register for the 8-week series.
