Whenever a screen adaptation of a beloved book is announced, fans undoubtedly hold their breath in hopes of the perfect imagining of a favorite story; when the breath is released it's typically to voice joyful approval or vehement rejection, with nary a shade of gray in-between. If you love flipping pages before checking out the flick and having spirited what-was-better-the-book-or-the-movie debates, check out this list of YA novels that have recent movie or TV series adaptations.
