  This is great! I didn’t know where it was going to go but I liked it the whole way through. Love that it wrapped up after two volumes.

  I liked these but it wasn’t my favourite. Maybe I just don’t really like hard boiled crime books. Noir, crime mystery but from the perspective of a son of Asian immigrants in the mid-1900’s.

  This was really good. Straight forward story, good characters, surprising ending.

  I made it halfway through before I had to return this but the first half was really great! I didn’t like every story but that typical of an anthology like this. I’ll place it on hold and read the rest.

  I wanted to like this more but I just didn’t and I can’t figure out why. There were things about the story that I just didn’t like or didn’t make sense.
