A Fall Day for BearA Fall Day for Bear

"One fall day, Bear is waiting for a tap, tap, tapping on his front door. He and Mouse had promised to go on a picnic together. But where is Mouse, small and gray and bright-eyed? Bear sets out to meet him on the path, only to find his friend sitting alone on a stump, looking sad, lamenting the changes of the season-- leaves falling, flowers dying, birds migrating. 'I don't like it when things go away,' Mouse says quietly. Will curmudgeonly Bear find a way to lift the spirits of the usually cheerful Mouse? With signature wit and warmth, beloved picture book characters Bear and Mouse are back in a much-anticipated new story about friendship, difficult feelings, and the healing power of laughter"--Jacket flap.
